At most Brisbane venues, venue hire is just the start. Then comes the furniture hire, the AV company, the bar fit-out and the glassware order. At Factory51, there is no venue hire fee — and everything on this page is included as standard with every booking.

The Workshop is a fully equipped private event space. You bring your guests. We take care of the room.

Furniture & Seating

Every piece is chosen for the aesthetic of the room. No hire company required, no extra cost, no delivery to coordinate.

  • Handmade Extra-Wide Timber Dining Tables  × 18 — ideal for long shared-table feasts and seated receptions
  • Handmade Timber Trestle Tables  × 25 — cocktail setups, gift tables, buffet runs and guest book stations
  • Black Folding Americano Chairs  × 156 — sleek and works with every styling direction
  • Black Velvet Ottomans  × 8 — for lounge areas and cocktail corners
  • High Bar Tables  × 5 — cocktail hour mingling and standing receptions
  • Black Bar Stools  × 12 — to accompany the high bars
  • Timber Feasting Risers  × 24 — height and texture for shared-table centrepieces and food displays

Tableware & Place Settings

Everything you need for a fully set table — nothing to source externally for a standard event.

  • Crystal Glassware — wine, water and champagne for your full guest count
  • Cutlery — full place setting for every guest
  • Plates — all dining plates included with your booking

All tableware is cleaned and set by our team before guests arrive.

Technology & AV

The Workshop is fully wired for sound and vision. No AV company needed for presentations, speeches, slideshows or ceremony music.

  • Inbuilt Projectors  × 2 — built into the room, perfect for photo slideshows, ceremony backdrops, corporate presentations and brand content
  • Dropdown Projector Screen  × 1 — large retractable screen for presentations and slideshows
  • Commercial Sound System  × 1 — full room coverage, handles background music through to live band or DJ setups
  • Microphone  × 1 — included for speeches, ceremonies and MC use

The Bar

The Workshop features a permanent, fully stocked inbuilt bar — not a portable hire bar brought in on the night.

  • Inbuilt Fully Stocked Bar  × 1 — staffed by our team, manages all beverage service for the evening

Décor & Venue Features

Several permanent features reduce what you need to hire or bring in.

  • Festoon Wall — warm festoon lighting built into the venue, a favourite ceremony and reception backdrop
  • Easels  × 2 — for welcome signs, seating charts, menus or artwork

Beyond these inclusions, The Workshop’s architecture does the heavy lifting. Exposed red brick, polished concrete floors, steel beams, a private laneway and a signature crystal chandelier mean the room has atmosphere before a single flower is placed. This is why most couples find they need far less styling than they expected.
